Can ChatGPT see your site?

Type your site's address. In a few seconds you see whether Google, ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity are allowed to read it, what they find when they read it without JavaScript, and whether your products exist as data they understand.

Rules checked against the sources:

We read only public pages of the site you typed: robots.txt, the page, the sitemap and llms.txt. We do not store the address or the result, and we set no cookies.

Findings

Type your site's address and press «Run the check». The result appears here.

What we check, and how.

We read your site the way crawlers do: without running JavaScript, applying robots.txt to each one separately. Every rule follows the platform's own documentation.

  1. Assistant access

What robots.txt tells ten crawlers: Google's, Bing's, OpenAI's, Anthropic's and Perplexity's. We separate search from model training, because they are different decisions.

  2. Indexing

Whether the page answers normally, allows indexing (noindex) and snippets (nosnippet), and names its own address as canonical.

  3. Text without JavaScript

How much text is in the HTML the server sends. The crawlers of OpenAI, Anthropic and Perplexity do not run JavaScript, as a Vercel study showed.

  4. Identity

Whether the site says, as data, who it is: name, logo, contact, profiles. So a machine does not confuse you with a business of the same name.

  5. Product data

On a product page: what Google requires for merchant listings (name, image, price, currency, availability), the recommended fields, and the 9 fields OpenAI's feed requires.

  6. Sitemap and files

Whether there is a sitemap, so all pages are found, and whether there is an llms.txt, which we report without scoring.

Want us to fix it?

We fix what the check found, from robots.txt to product data, and measure every month how you appear in Google and in AI assistants.

The questions we hear most.

From your robots.txt: OAI-SearchBot is the crawler that brings pages into ChatGPT search, and it must be allowed. Then your content has to be in the page's HTML, because the crawler does not run JavaScript. The check shows both in a few seconds.

No. GPTBot collects text for model training. ChatGPT search uses OAI-SearchBot. You can block the first and allow the second.

No. Google says Google-Extended does not affect inclusion or ranking in Search. It concerns training Gemini models and the Gemini app's answers. AI Overviews and AI Mode read your site through Googlebot.

Access is the first step, not a guarantee. Your content in the HTML, business and product data, mentions from other sites and the quality of the answer matter too. And some firewalls, such as Cloudflare's AI bot settings, block without robots.txt saying so.

It is not necessary. It is a 2024 proposal, not a standard, and Google says AI features need no new machine-readable or AI text files. Having one does no harm, but it does not replace the data on the pages themselves.

We use it only to read the site's public pages at that moment. We do not store it, we do not store the result and we set no cookies. Your site sees the check as NoriaCheck.
