What the website does without your consent

The whole website works without cookies. Without your consent, it:

• sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, except your answer itself.
• runs no statistics, audience measurement or advertising tools.
• loads nothing from third-party services: fonts, images and video come from its own server.
• has no social media buttons or embedded content, maps or videos from third parties.

What your browser does on its own

As on every website, your browser keeps copies of the page's files (code, images) so that it loads faster, and your history. You control these in its settings, and they give us no information about you.

The page adapts to your screen size and to your preference for less motion by reading those settings while you view it. It does not store them or send them anywhere.

The contact form

What you type in the form on the Contact page stays in the page's memory until you press “Send”; if you close the page before that, it is gone. When you send it, it goes to the website's own server, not to another service, and from there it reaches us, as the Privacy policy describes. The form stores nothing on your device and uses no cookies or reCAPTCHA. If sending fails, you can open the same text in your own email app.

Which optional tools we use

Each measurement or advertising tool runs only for those who say yes to its category. What follows comes from the same settings that switch the tools on, so it always shows the ones in use.

The categories

Each tool belongs to one of two categories, and you give or refuse your consent by category:

• Measurement: how many people read each page and where they come from, in aggregate.
• Advertising: whether our ads bring messages, and ads to people who visited us.

What is recorded and what the providers receive

When a tool runs, its provider receives from your device details such as your IP address, the page, the type of device and the identifier in its cookie. The advertising providers also use them for their own purposes, under their own responsibility.

If you say yes to measurement, we also record three actions: sending the form, clicking a phone link and clicking an email link. Only the action is recorded, with the link's address or, for the form, the services you chose; never what you wrote. More in the Privacy policy.

Google's tools

We set up Google's tools with Consent Mode v2 in its basic form: unless you say yes, they do not load and send nothing, not even anonymous signals.

We ask first

The law (Article 4(5) of Greek Law 3471/2006, which implements the ePrivacy Directive) requires your consent before information is stored on or read from your device, unless it is strictly necessary for the service you asked for. So when we use optional tools, we ask you first:

• Nothing optional loads before you answer.
• On the first question, “Reject” and “Accept” are two identical buttons.
• You can choose by category; all categories start switched off.
• The website works the same, whatever you answer.

How we remember your answer

We keep your answer on your device, in your browser's local storage under the key noria-consent, for 6 months; after that we ask again. It holds only your choice, the date and a version number, and is sent nowhere. It is needed to respect what you answered, so it is strictly necessary and needs no consent. If we add a tool or a purpose, we change the version and ask you again.

How to change your mind

At any time, from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page, which is there whenever we use optional tools. If you withdraw consent, we delete the tools' cookies from our domain and reload the page, so that no tool keeps running. Cookies that a provider sets on its own domain we cannot delete; you can delete them in your browser settings.

You can check it

Open your browser's developer tools. In the Application or Storage tab, as long as you have not answered the question about cookies, noria.gr has no cookies or other stored items; once you have answered, there is only noria-consent and, if you said yes, the cookies of the tools you accepted. In the Network tab you will see that, before you say yes, no request goes to another domain, not even when you send the form. If you find anything else, write to us at info@noria.gr and we will fix it.

Your browser settings

On any website you can block or delete cookies and stored items in your browser's settings. On noria.gr the website works the same; if you delete your answer, we will simply ask you again.
